A clean sweep for SCHIET 3 and a change at the top for SCHIET 4: Friday 2 October 2026 brought mixed fortunes for the club. SCHIET 3 followed their first win of the season with four individual victories against Squash Hillegom 4. SCHIET 4’s three-match winning start ended at Squash City 9, while SCHIET 1 and SCHIET 2 were beaten in Zwolle and Almere.

SCHIET 3: four wins and a second successive victory

Mark Bennis, Onno van der Hulst, Hans Jansen and Chaim van Veen all won against Squash Hillegom 4, dropping just one game between them. The 15-1 league-points result gives SCHIET 3 two wins in a row and takes them to fifth place with 34 points from four fixtures.

Mark won in straight games against Joey Egberts, including a tight 15-13 second game. Onno beat Arjen de Swart 3-1, responding to a 10-12 loss in the third with an 11-8 fourth game. Hans beat Martijn Oostdam 3-0, and Chaim also won in three against René Stunnenberg, taking the second 12-10.

SCHIET 4: one player short, one point off the lead

SCHIET 4 arrived at Squash City with three wins from three, but the player shortage flagged in Friday’s preview affected the official result. With only three eligible players available, the fourth rubber was recorded as a 0-3 loss, with three 0-11 games. That entry was due to the missing player.

Mirhossein Mousavi won 3-0 against Sebastiaan Bakker, taking the games 11-4, 11-3 and 11-9. Julien Carter came close to turning his match against Casper Winkelman around: after losing the first two games, he won the next two 11-7 and 11-4 before Casper took the decider 11-7. David Pinho lost in straight games to Huub Mulder.

The official result was 5-12 in league points. Squash City 9 moves into first place with 46 points; SCHIET 4 is second on 45, with three wins from four fixtures.

SCHIET 2: two individual wins, but Almere takes the team result

Maxim Labordus and Binnert Velthuijsen both won at Squash Almere 5. Maxim beat Ross Ford 3-1, while Binnert edged Niek van Asperen in five games, winning the decider 11-9.

Hayden de Burger took a game against Gert-Jan van de Bovenkamp but lost 1-3, and Frank Loots lost in three to Sander Koekoek. With the individual matches split 2-2, Almere’s 9-7 advantage in games decided the meeting. SCHIET 2 collected seven league points and sits fourth with 33 points from four fixtures.

SCHIET 1: Rob wins as Zwolle takes the meeting

Rob Konijn provided SCHIET 1’s individual win at Squash & Padel Centrum Zwolle 1. After losing the opener 4-11 to Corjan Meijerink, he took the next three games, finishing with an 11-1 fourth.

Kevin van der Maas fought back from two games down against Mikel van der Vegt, winning the third and fourth before losing the decider 5-11. Bart Konijn won the opener against Joël Hoogeveen but lost 1-3, and Stef van Lieshout lost in straight games to Tom van Giessen. The 6-13 league-points result leaves SCHIET 1 seventh with 19 points from four fixtures.
