SCHIET 4 goes top | Squash results, 25 September 2026

Three team wins, a clean sweep and a new league leader: Friday 25 September was a strong home night for SCHIET at USC Universum. SCHIET 4 beat Squash Hillegom 3 in all four individual matches to make it three team wins from three and take first place in their division.

SCHIET 2 and SCHIET 3 also celebrated their first team victories of the 2026/27 SBN season, against Squash Almere 4 and Dekker Warmond 2 respectively. SCHIET 1 faced a tough evening against Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 1.

SCHIET 4: four wins and top of the table

The chance to go top in our match preview became reality. David Pinho, Thomas Winkler, Mirhossein Mousavi and Frank Manders all won against the team that had led the division going into Friday.

David edged Petra Meijer in five games, taking the decider 11–9 after Petra had levelled the match with an 11–3 fourth game. Thomas beat Richard Ludwig 3–1, winning the final two games after Richard drew level.

Mirhossein beat Robert Los in straight games, closing out a tight third 14–12. Frank’s match against Alex Wait went the distance: he took the opener 15–13, and the pair traded games before Frank won the fifth 11–8.

The 15–5 league-points victory puts SCHIET 4 first with 40 points from three matches, six ahead of Squash City 9. Next Friday brings an away meeting with that second-placed side.

SCHIET 2: first team win, with every game counting

Hayden de Burger’s 3–1 win over Siemen de Vries and Daan Bouwmeister’s straight-games win over Onno De Jong helped SCHIET 2 secure their first team victory. With two individual wins apiece, SCHIET’s 9–7 advantage in games decided the meeting with Squash Almere 4.

There were plenty of close games elsewhere. Maxim Labordus lost the second 12–14 to Elzo Stijger before taking the third 13–11, eventually losing 1–3. Binnert Velthuijsen lost a marathon opener 17–19 to Sjoerd van den Broek, then won the next two games 11–3 and 11–4. Sjoerd recovered to take the match in five, but Binnert’s two games contributed to the team’s 12–7 league-points win.

Maxim Labordus lost 1–3 to Elzo Stijger (4–11, 12–14, 13–11, 5–11).

SCHIET 3: three individual wins get the team off the mark

Mark Bennis, Hans Jansen and Chaim van Veen delivered SCHIET 3’s first team win of the season against Dekker Warmond 2. Mark beat Max van den Oever 3–1, while Hans closed out a straight-games win over Ronald Cuypers with a 12–10 third game.

Chaim recovered from losing the opener 11–13 to Albert Lankhorst, taking the next three games and winning the fourth 11–2. Debbie Beerendonk lost in three to Dirk De Mol. The team finished 9–5 ahead in games and collected 12 league points.

SCHIET 1: a tough night against ASRC

Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 1 won all four matches in straight games. Kevin van der Maas, Rob Konijn, Menno Bredenoord and Paul van Schie faced Stefan Welters, Daniel Lagewaard, Sean Redmen and Steven van Kooten respectively. The visitors took the team result 15–0 in league points.
