With four rounds behind them, SCHIET’s teams have time to catch their breath. There is a four-week gap between the last fixtures on 2 October and the next round on Friday 30 October.

The teams enter the break with different things to build on. SCHIET 3 has won twice in a row, most recently sweeping Squash Hillegom 4 with four individual victories. SCHIET 4’s unbeaten start ended at Squash City, but the team remains second, just one point off the lead. SCHIET 1 and SCHIET 2 will look to respond after defeats in Zwolle and Almere. The next few weeks offer a chance to work on the details: improve consistency, practise those difficult shots and prepare for the next stretch of the season. For SCHIET 3, the challenge is to carry its momentum through the break; for the other teams, it is an opportunity to regroup.

When league play resumes, all four teams will be at home at USC Universum, with every fixture starting at 20:00.
