SCHIET 4: a disputed evening, a big match and one player short

Friday 2 October 2026

Last Friday brought SCHIET 4 a clean sweep against Squash Hillegom 3: four individual wins and a 15–5 victory in league points. But the evening’s aftermath has given the team more to discuss than the result. SBN scorecard

In the team chat, David Pinho reported that Hillegom had raised complaints with SBN about arrival time, the match starting late and how the scores were submitted. He also described a complaint concerning conduct during his match.

David disputes parts of that account and has raised his own concerns about blocking and tripping on court. He says he has sent his response through Rob and submitted the scores to SBN. These are contested accounts, and conclusions about responsibility need the full picture.

Tonight brings another demanding fixture. SCHIET 4 visits Squash City 9 for a meeting between the division’s top two teams. SCHIET leads with 40 points after three wins from three, while Squash City sits second on 34. SBN standings

There is also a practical problem: SCHIET 4 is one player short. Julien, David and Mirhossein are available, but the search for a fourth player has so far been unsuccessful. With three players covering four matches, someone will need to play twice—an extra challenge against the team closest behind us in the table.

Elsewhere tonight, SCHIET 1 travels to Squash & Padel Centrum Zwolle 1 in the Eerste Divisie. SCHIET 2 visits Squash Almere 5 in the Promotieklasse, while SCHIET 3 faces Squash Hillegom 4 in the Tweede Klasse.

All four SCHIET teams are scheduled away tonight at 20:00:
