SCHIET squash: league week 2 results

SCHIET 4 made it two team wins from two in the 2026/27 Squash Bond Nederland (SBN) league on Friday 18 September 2026, edging Squash Almere 8 on games after sharing the individual matches. Across our four SCHIET squash teams from Amsterdam, five matches went to a deciding game, including comeback wins for Bart Konijn and Onno van der Hulst.

SCHIET 2 finished level with Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 4 in both games and rally points, although the official SBN scorecard awarded the home side the team win. SCHIET 1 and SCHIET 3 each picked up one individual victory.

SCHIET 1: Bart wins a five-game battle

Bart Konijn recovered from 1-2 down against Guido de Regt, taking the fourth game 11-8 and the decider 12-10. Rob Konijn also fought back to force a fifth after losing the first two games to Mees Buytenhuijs, but narrowly lost the final game 9-11.

Paul van Schie took a game against Hans Tegels, while Cesar Chun Kit Mak lost in three to Lewis van der Werf. All Inn Squash 1 finished with three individual wins and 14 league points to SCHIET’s six.

SCHIET 2: level in games, eight league points

Maxim Labordus and Binnert Velthuijsen both won 3-1, against Arjun Sinha and Saurabh Kumar respectively. Alex Abdalla took Robin Rico to five games, winning a close fourth 13-11 before losing the decider. Frank Loots lost in three to Michiel Bestebroer.

The teams finished level at two individual wins each, 8-8 in games and 150-150 in rally points. The official SBN scorecard records an 11-8 league-points win for Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 4.

Maxim Labordus beat Arjun Sinha 3-1 (11-8, 8-11, 11-5, 11-7).

SCHIET 3: Onno turns it around

Onno van der Hulst came back from two games down against Jan Yong van der Wal to win 3-2. After losing a close second game 10-12, he took the next three 11-6, 11-7 and 11-8.

Kengo Takahashi, Hans Jansen and Debbie Beerendonk each lost in three games. Squash Almere 7 won the team match, with SCHIET 3 collecting three league points at home.

Onno van der Hulst beat Jan Yong van der Wal 3-2 (6-11, 10-12, 11-6, 11-7, 11-8).
Kengo Takahashi lost 0-3 to Ian Wels (9-11, 4-11, 9-11).

Debbie Beerendonk lost 0-3 to Joop Lodewijk (9-11, 9-11, 7-11).

SCHIET 4: two wins from two

Straight-games wins from Frank Manders and Matteo Canaletti helped SCHIET 4 secure a second team victory. Frank beat Leonard Hofman, closing the third game 12-10, while Matteo beat Artem Pelenev and took a close second game by the same score.

Mirhossein Mousavi won the first two games against Bjorn Meijer, including an 11-1 second game, before Bjorn came back to win the match 3-2. David Pinho lost in three to Jenson Meijer. With two individual wins apiece, SCHIET’s 8-6 advantage in games secured an 11-6 league-points win.
