Four teams, sixteen matches and a winning start for SCHIET 4. Our teams opened the 2026/27 SBN league season on Friday 11 September, with close contests and plenty of games to build on.
SCHIET 4 won three of its four individual matches against Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 6. SCHIET 1 shared the individual wins with Squash Utrecht 5, while SCHIET 2 and SCHIET 3 each picked up one individual victory.

SCHIET 1: level in games, Utrecht takes the points
Kevin van der Maas won 3-1 and Rob Konijn won in three straight games, closing out the last game 16-14. Bart Konijn and Stef van Lieshout lost their matches, leaving the teams level at two individual wins each and 7-7 in games. The official SBN scorecard records league points of 7-10 in Utrecht’s favour.

SCHIET 2: two matches go the distance
Maxim Labordus held off Walter Schreefel in five games, winning the decider 11-4. Hayden de Burger recovered from two games down to force a fifth against Koen Welvaars, but narrowly lost it 8-11. Hans de Moel took a game in his match, while Frank Loots lost in three. Haarlem finished with three individual wins and 14 league points to SCHIET’s six.

SCHIET 3: Lander wins in straight games
Away at Sportcentrum Match/SVA 4, Lander de Vroede delivered SCHIET 3’s win, beating Koen Bokkes 11-5, 11-7, 11-6. Debbie Beerendonk took the third game of her match before losing 1-3. Onno van der Hulst and Vincent Geeraets both lost in three games. SCHIET came away with four league points.

SCHIET 4: three straight-games wins
David Pinho, Thomas Winkler and Frank Manders each won 3-0 to give SCHIET 4 a strong start against Frans Otten Stadion (ASRC) 6. Julien Carter fought back from 0-2 to take his match to a fifth game before Marnix Meeuwis won the decider. The team collected 14 league points, with an 11-3 total in games.
